WHAT: This workshop does not focus on new vocabulary, though new vocabulary may be included. The focal point of this workshop is really cleaning and improving the movement between tricks. We will break down and discuss different techniques and styles on how to make the students’ movements more fluid and enjoyable to watch.
PREREQUISITES:
Intermediate to Advanced sling skills.
Must be able to safely “diaper drop”/”front salto” without a spot.
WHO: Daniel Saab is an aerial performer and coach specializing in hoop and sling, but is well-versed in many different apparatus. At the age of 8, he began his aerial artistry at Independent Lake Camp in Orson, Pennsylvania. 10 years later he began his professional journey in NYC. Daniel has performed in various shows from cabarets at Oz New Orleans and The Slipper Room NYC, to bigger productions at larger-scale venues such as Universal Studios Orlando and Madison Square Garden.
He is currently contracted in Denver with Quixotic Entertainment performing in Sensatia Cabaret. When not performing, he travels around the country and world teaching workshops and private lessons.
