WHAT: This workshop deals with mostly leaving behind the bottom of the sling, and venturing into the area in fabric above to incorporate more airborne driven vocabulary into our sling practice. We will be learning some sling- specific vocabulary, as well as incorporating movement that can be found on split silks to translate over to this apparatus.

PREREQUISITES:
Must be able to do an unassisted aerial invert from standing in the hammock.
Must be able to hold an inverted position for at least 10 seconds.
Previous experience with sling or split silks in some capacity. Must be able to climb a fabric and footlock.
WHO: Daniel Saab is an aerial performer and coach based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. At the age of 8, he began his aerial artistry at Independent Lake Camp in Orson, Pennsylvania. 10 years later he began his professional journey in NYC. Daniel has performed in various shows from cabarets at Oz New Orleans and The Slipper Room NYC, to bigger productions at larger-scale venues such as Universal Studios Orlando and Madison Square Garden. When not performing, he travels around the country and world to teach workshops and private lessons.
