WHAT: In this workshop we will experiment with transitions designed for continuous movement and flow. Students will combine new and classic hoop vocabulary to bring an exciting element to their aerial choreography. I will challenge the students to explore their movement while simultaneously managing a fast-spinning hoop. The class will strive to help students create choreography with varying intensity of pace and tempo.

Since discovering aerial arts in 2015, Artoor has been honing and fine-tuning his technique and presence in the air. He became dedicated to fully immersing himself in his training, learning as much as he could from a multitude of coaches across the country. Although having an all-around foundation across the traditional aerial disciplines, Artoor’s focus is his connection to his Aerial Hoop. His commitment to his work has allowed him the opportunities to be featured as a performer at Pride festivals across the country in addition to being an aerialist for Taylor Swift’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
As a Coach, Artoor is excited to share his depth of knowledge of aerial technique. His mission is to help his students understand the apparatus as an extension of the body and not just a piece of equipment. He spent his time carefully understanding finesse and style in addition to possessing a solid technical foundation. Students in his class can expect to develop a better understand and confidence in how their bodies move off the ground in a safe, open and supportive environment.

COST: $80 or $150 when you sign also sign up for the Sling workshop with Dan on 9/13 from 4:00-6:00 p.m..
EQUIPMENT: Please email us at info@gravityaerialarts.com if you will be bringing your own Lyra and plan on arriving and staying about 15 minutes before and after. A Lyra will be provided for you if you don't have your own.
PREREQUISITES: This workshop is for intermediate to advanced aerial lyra artists.
